Recycled Furniture Made from Skateboards Keeps the Green Movement Rolling
Posted by: Taeho Lim at 1:43 pm

Recycled furniture comes from a number of sources and manifests itself in all shapes and sizes, so it’s no surprise to find a post on Inhabitat highlighting a new collection made from old skateboards. It’s called Skate Study House and it ranges from chairs with skateboard seating to bookshelves with skateboard frames to funky clocks with skateboard wheels marking every hour.

So should we expect any skateboard-themed recycled furniture to roll into a green school near you anytime soon? Probably not. I’m guessing educators would rather have green furniture that doesn’t compel students to daydream during class about what they’re doing after class. Nevertheless, the collection looks like a pretty cool way for eco-activists to show their style and do something good for the environment at the same time.

Wow this is pretty cool. Being a former skater I can really appreciate this.... but even if you don't skate it's still pretty cool. I definitely suggest that every one checks out the Skate Study House site.
